Design

The Design is the second step of our client service process.   The purpose of the Design is to customize a financial reporting system around the client’s specific financial information needs and the functionality, and constraints, of their accounting and other software, personnel and budget.  The design usually takes a few weeks to complete.

Design Services deliverables include a Financial Reporting Design Blueprint and a fixed fee, defined scope services proposal for Implementation, Monthly Financial Reporting and Quarterly Performance Management Workshops.

The Financial Reporting Design Blueprint is literally a page by page mockup of the client’s proposed financial reporting package, along with a summary of key specifications related to underlying software and procedures.

Because we use MS Excel for financial reporting, Greenstone Financial Reporting is essentially “platform independent,” meaning that our financial reporting services work with most software with equal effectiveness.  Furthermore, we have proven expertise in combining financial and operational data from multiple client software packages into unified and powerful financial reports.  This “reporting integration” enables clients to leverage far more business intelligence from their disparate software packages and in-house accounting resources.

Once the Design is completed, we move forward to the Implementation.
